Founded in 1989 from the Charlotte Drum Corps Association, Carolina Crown won the DCI World Championship in 2013 with the first and only perfect brass score in finals history. The corps has been among the most consistent non-Concord corps over the past decade, finishing in the top five virtually every year since 2008, known for their extraordinary brass sound.
