Founded around 2008–2009 by Keith Hall to bring competitive drum corps back to Tennessee, Music City grew from 47 to over 125 members within a few years. Based in Nashville — the heart of American music — the corps made DCI World Class semifinals in 2013 and transitioned to World Class competition in 2018, blending country, jazz, and classical influences.
